Good Health, Good Life
Good health feels like living in paradise. Everything seems brighter, even challenges appear as opportunities to grow. Health is the key to a fulfilling life. After all, isn’t that why we are here on this planet? To experience and enjoy life to the fullest?
Living in Paradise or Hell?
I know some people might disagree. Even my past self would have scoffed and said, “This is hell, not paradise.” Life felt overwhelming—endless bills to pay, responsibilities to manage, relationships to maintain, and expectations to meet. I felt trapped in a cycle of stress, like my head was ready to explode.
But over time, I realized something profound: Our external world is a reflection of our inner world. The thoughts we cultivate shape our reality. When I was filled with negative thoughts, everything around me seemed dark. I constantly questioned myself: Why does no one like me? Why do people ignore me or stare at me? Why am I bad at everything?
Even with friends, I felt like an outsider. I would sit in silence, listening but never speaking, because a voice inside told me, You don’t belong. You’re not good enough. And later, when I was alone, I’d replay those conversations in my head, thinking of all the things I could have said—but never did.
The Inside-Out Approach
to Health
Life feels like hell when our mind is in turmoil, but true health starts from the inside. The first step to good health is positive thinking, especially about ourselves.
My journey of transformation began with a book: Zen Therapy. It taught me the importance of focusing on my inner world—my thoughts, emotions, and desires. Later, I discovered Dr. Joe Dispenza’s work on the mind-body connection. He explains how our thoughts shape our health and reality. I highly recommend his books if you want to learn how to shift from negativity to positivity.
Rewiring My Mind
Even though painful memories still lingered, meditation and reading helped me reframe my thoughts. I started focusing on what went right in my day instead of dwelling on what went wrong. I reminded myself of the good moments, no matter how small. I also observed my negative behaviors and consciously worked to change them.
Over time, I became comfortable with myself. I no longer needed distractions to avoid my thoughts—I learned to sit with them, understand them, and transform them. When I eventually reconnected with old friends, they would ask, “Where have you been all this time?” It was a normal question, but I noticed something new: I started seeing people differently.
Before, I never really looked into people’s eyes. Now, I did—and I saw recognition, familiarity. People had known me all along; it was just me who had been disconnected. They say, “Eyes never lie,” and I finally understood what that meant.
From Darkness to Light
Shifting from negative to positive thinking changed my life. Now, it feels like I’m living in paradise, surrounded by good people and the beauty of nature. Some people call me weird, especially children, who often say, “Why do all kids like you so much?” That’s the best compliment I could ever receive. Children have no filter—they say exactly what they see.
Today, I love life. I have a purpose: to help others. Every day, I try to bring joy to someone else. Because at the end of the day, when I lie down to sleep, the real question is: Did I make today better—for myself and for others?
Hell or Paradise—The Choice is Yours
Life is both hell and paradise, happening simultaneously. Right now, someone is suffering, seeing the world through the lens of pain, while someone else is thriving, experiencing life as a paradise. The difference lies within the mind.
Key Takeaways:
• A positive mindset leads to a happy, fulfilling life.
• Good health starts from within—focus on your thoughts.
• Learn about your mind and body to improve your well-being.
